
Colson Baker (born April 22 the 22nd of April, 1990) is a popular American rapper and singer. He is also known as Machine Gun Kelly (MGK), a songwriter, actor and performer. Before signing with Bad Boy Records, Machine Gun Kelly (born on April 22nd in 1990) is well-known for his hybrid style of alternative rock and hip hop. He released his debut studio album called Lace Up in 2012, which peaked at number 4 on the US Billboard 200 and contained his most popular single "Wild Boy" (featuring Waka Flocka Flame). General Admission (2015) and Bloom 2017 were his third and second albums. The latter featured the smash hit track "Bad Things", which was sung by Camila Cabello and peaked at #4 on the Billboard Hot 100. The fourth album, Hotel Diablo (2018), featured rap rock. Machine Gun Kelly's fifth album Tickets to My Downfall was released in 2020. The album represented the beginning of a new era in hip hop and a transition into pop punk. The lead single "My Ex's best friend" reached the top spot on the Billboard 200. It was the first album by a rock artist to achieve the top spot. The album's follow-up Mainstream Sellout (1922) was an immediate commercial success.
