The artist was born on the 26th of November 1986 in Santa Monica California in the United States of America. The singer is the daughter of Vincenzo Barba the father of her and Valerie Barba. The family moved from Point Pleasant New Jersey when she was just six years old. After moving to New Jersey, she finished her studies in Red Bank Catholic High School. Her education continued through Catholic University where she earned a bachelor of architecture. She also played the violin at the age of four and was referred to as the Violin Lady. Because of her talent the violinist was referred to by the name of Violin Girl. Also, she was a violin teacher for the children of the surrounding area. When she was nineteen she auditioned for the 6th season of American Idol and sang the 1976 single Free. She was eventually eliminated when she was ranked 16th the American Idol. The singer has also performed other songs like 'The Christmas Song (2009) and Out for Blood (2010). She has also appeared on television shows such as Jimmy Kimmel Live!
