Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd began her journey into combat sports at the young age of fourteen. She trained in boxing kickboxing wrestling and BJJ before making her first amateur appearance at 18 at WCFC with Jaimee Nievera. Ladd took advantage of this win and then went on to a three-fight victory streak in Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her opponents inside the first round of all fights. Aspen went back to WCFC for the purpose of defeating Leslie Rodriguez through a unanimous decision. Aspen was first beaten by Silvia Babyghian before going on to fight Maddy Simmons at WCFC 9 in which she took on Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia beat Aspen and defeated her in an unanimous decision. This put an ominous mark on her records as an amateur. Ladd bounced back from defeat by defeating Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, which brought her record to 8-1. Aspen made her professional debut in 2015 and signed with Invicta FC to make her professional debut. She fought Ana Carolina Vidal at Invicta FC 11, and defeated her in the first round to win a TKO. Invicta Fighter Championships 16. Aspen won the following match in the fight against Amanda Cooper through a second-round submission via armbar. She repeated her dominance and racked up an stunning victory in her next fight against Tonya Evinger, who was fighting at UFC 229. Ladd beat Evinger with a punch during the first round and earned a Performance of the Night bonus. Invicta FC, a rematch of UFC Fight Night dos Anjos and Lee the fight was between Sijara-Eubanks in her debut fight. Ladd, who won the unanimous decision after an intense back and forth battle among the pair of fighters was awarded her Fight of the Night bonuses.
